I made this after going to an AQA coursework course a couple of years ago.

Hi, I am starting my textiles coursework now (WJEC exam board) and I'm having trouble on what to write.

Also if you did the GCSES coursework ages ago and sort of remember hat to do please help I think its against the rules to post msn/hotmail on TSR so can you PM it please so we can chat as it is so much easier. I agree, I presume you'll be doing AQA so read the specification from their website. Most people in my class got barely half marks until they kept getting a remark. It's not academically hard, just a lot of pointless testing and trialling. Page 1) Customer info - project title, who is the client, where/when the product will be used, what could I make, how will I make it.

If your art course is anything like mine (OCR, I think...), then the specification should be something like this: AO1- Visual Research (drawings, paintings etc./own photos/other pictures from magazines/newspapers etc./mind map an ideas) AO2- Art History (pick 1/2 artists and examine/include pictures of their work and then do your own response to it/say why you like it) AO3- Design Ideas (at least four, in colour/detailed- annotations/explain how you'll do it/how it links with art history) AO4- Experimentation and Final Piece (produce a final art piece that links to AO1/AO2 and is relevant to topic/product experimentation to show you know what you're doing) Hope that helps! On other half of page - things to consider- client, function, safety, fabric, style, time available, cost, size, event, component.

Page 4) A designer influence (so I did Giorgio Armani)...other half of page I did an influence from the past ( so i did fashion since WW1). Page 6) On this page I evaluated the previous pages (image board, comparitive shop, product analysis)....

I did this on a grid.....important points of the research, how the information will help me, an what point will specifically help me.
