I received a package from home one day filled with all sorts of "western" candies.

One of my landlord's kid, Joel, came over and he started asking me questions about all the candy like all curious kids would do.

I'm a teacher here at home now, and those kids in that photo are some of the best, sweetest students I've ever had anywhere. I went back to my town in Romania in 2009, two years after I left, and saw a few of them while walking around. I'm going back again in a few months, so maybe I'll see some of them again.

But, this time they may have grown so much that I won't be able to recognize them!
